Nochi is one of the most useful plants in the Indian system of medicine, widely used in all systems of treatment - Ayurveda, Unani, Siddhadh, Homeopathy and Allopathy. Referred to as Sindhuwara in Ayurveda, nochi has been used as a medicine since ancient times. It is called by different names in different parts of India. In English the shrub is called Chinese Chaste tree, Pure tree or Horseshoe Vitex and the botanical name is Vitex Negando.

Nochi is considered as an effective Analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and anti-fungal. It is used to treat a wide range of ailments, ranging from Sinus Infection, headache,  to migraine, from skin affections to wounds, and swelling, asthmatic pains, male and female sexual and reproductive problems.

Nochi is reported to have expectorant, carminative, digestive, antiseptic, antipyretic, diuretic and , Analgesic, Anti-Inflammatory, Antioxidant, Antifungal, rejuvenating, and tonic properties.

Direction for use: For Adults add one tea spoon (5g) of Nochi leaf powder in a glass of warm water or boiling water, filter and drink. Can be used as a paste/ steam inhalation  as well as for external application or  as powder / kashayam for internal use as advised by your doctor or Naturopath.
